Shaitaan (शैतान) is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language supernatural horror film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios. The film features an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgan, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, and Anngad Raaj.

STORYLINE:

The storyline revolves around Kabir and his family, who embark on a fun weekend retreat. However, their peaceful getaway takes a nightmarish turn when they allow a friendly yet mysterious stranger into their house. As the clock ticks, the family is forced to confront their worst fears in this gripping, edge-of-the-seat supernatural thriller that delves into the sinister elements of Indian Black Magic.

The film’s music is composed by Amit Trivedi, and the cinematography and editing are handled by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti and Sandeep Francis Jyothika returns to Hindi films after 26 years, having made her debut opposite Akshaye Khanna in Doli Saja Ke Rakhna (1998).

Shaitaan promises an intense and spine-chilling experience, exploring the battle between good and evil in a supernatural context. It’s released in theatres across globe  on March 8, 2024.

The film was officially announced in May 2023 with the title confirmed in January 2024. Principal photography began in June 2023 and ended in September 2023, proceeding in India and London. It is a remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash.

Shaitaan was theatrically released on 8 March 2024, coinciding with Maha Shivaratri. It received mostly positive reviews from critics with praise directed towards the performances and screenplay. It was a commercial success, grossing over ₹187 crore (US$23 million) worldwide and became the fourth highest grossing Indian film of 2024.

PRODUCTION:

The film is a remake of the Gujarati horror film Vash (2023) and was announced in May 2023, while the title Shaitaan was announced in January 2024 through teaser. Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan were cast for the principal roles along with Jyothika, Anngad Raaj and Janki Bodiwala; the latter reprises her role from the original film. This film marked the first time Madhavan and Jyothika collaborated since their 2001 film Dumm Dumm Dumm and 2003 film Priyamaana Thozhi. The film also marks Jyothika's return to Bollywood after 24 years.

The film was shot in London, Mumbai and Mussoorie with filming taking place from June 2023 to September 2023.

Box office collection:

As of 21 March 2024, Shaitaan has grossed ₹157.05 crore (US$20 million) in India, with a further ₹30.62 crore (US$3.8 million) in overseas, for a worldwide total of ₹187.67 crore (US$24 million).

Merry Christmas is an upcoming Indian thriller film directed by Sriram Raghavan. Filmed simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil, the film stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi.

Principal photography commenced in December 2021, with the film's official announcement, and wrapped up in January 2023. The film marks the Tamil debut of Raghavan, Kaif and music composer Pritam as well as the third Hindi film for Sethupathi.

After several postponements, Merry Christmas is scheduled to release in theatres on 12 January 2024.

STORYLINE:

Two strangers meet on a fateful Christmas Eve. A night of delirious romance turns into a nightmare. Revealing anything more would be a crime.

Albert comes home on Christmas Eve, having been gone for a number of years. He goes out to find joy in the city's Christmas Eve celebrations, still grieving and coming to terms with the death of his mother. He meets Maria, a fascinating and lovely woman, and her young silent daughter. Long walks and talks throughout the night lead to an unanticipated but inescapable attraction between Albert and Maria. Albert is all Maria could want for in a partner.

Furthermore, Maria is nothing less than a Christmas miracle in Albert's eyes. However, things quickly take a terrible turn, and a romantic evening becomes a nightmare.

सोनिया बाउरी ने  कॉलेज की एनएसएस इकाई में अपना नाम दर्ज कराया था और कॉलेज द्वारा शुरुआत में 44 छात्रों की प्राथमिक सूची में उनका नाम चुना गया था।  चूंकि सोनिया मेधावी और पढ़ाई में अच्छी थी, इसलिए उसके मामा उसे रानीगंज ले आए और यहां स्कूल और कॉलेज में उसका दाखिला कराया।यह ज्ञात हुआ है कि राज्य के आठ छात्रों, जिनमें एक रानिगंज का छात्र और दूसरा पिछड़े जंगलमहल क्षेत्र का छात्र शामिल है, को 26 जनवरी को नई दिल्ली में प्रतिष्ठित परेड के लिए चुना गया है। स्थानीय विधायक ने भी उनके जीवन में सफलता की कामना की है और टीडीबी कॉलेज को बधाई दी है  ।

Kalki 2898 - A.D:

Kalki 2898 - A.D is an upcoming Indian epic science fiction dystopian film written and directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies. The film stars an ensemble cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.

A modern-day avatar of Vishnu, a Hindu god, who is believed to have descended to earth to protect the world from evil forces.

The film was announced under the working title Project K in February 2020 coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Movies. However, the production was delayed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming began in July 2021 in a futuristic set at Ramoji Film City, in Hyderabad. It was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.

Kalki 2898 AD is made on a budget of ₹600 crore (US$75 million), making it the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film's music score is composed by Santhosh Narayanan with cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and production design by Nitin Zihani Choudhary. Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 12^th January  2024.

PRODUCTION:

Following the 2018 biographical film Mahanati, director Nag Ashwin stated in August 2019 that he has been working on an original story and screenplay for a long time which would go on floors soon. The same month, Vyjayanthi Movies revealed their plans to begin Ashwin's film in September that year and invited visual artists, designers and writers to join the production.

Vyjayanthi Movies officially announced in February 2020 that their next film with Ashwin would star Prabhas. It is intended to mark 50 years since the establishment of their studio.The film is produced by Ashwin's father-in-law C. Aswani Dutt.

CASTING:

Kalki 2898-A.D marks Hindi film actress Deepika Padukone's debut in Telugu cinema.

In July 2020, Hindi film actress Deepika Padukone was signed to play the lead role opposite Prabhas. Padukone felt that she was "beyond thrilled" to join the production while Ashwin stated that her character would be "surprise" as it was something which "no mainstream lead has [ever] done before". The film marks Padukone's debut in Telugu cinema. Bollywood Hungama reported that her role was initially "not substantial" but was improved to suit her stardom. In October, Amitabh Bachchan was cast in a full-length role in the film. Ashwin stated that his role was "so important that his character's name was the working title of an early draft". The film would be Bachchan's first full-length role in a Telugu film, following his cameo appearances in Manam (2014) and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019).

In May 2022, Disha Patani joined the cast, marking her return to Telugu cinema after Loafer (2015).In June 2023, Kamal Haasan joined the cast, marking his return to Telugu and Hindi cinema.

Pre-production

The film was recognised as "Project K" which served as the working title of the film. Ashwin stated that the film needed high-end technology and futuristic vehicles to be developed for the film. While they can be recreated using computer-generated imagery (CGI), Ashwin wanted them to feel "authentic and genuine", therefore opted to build these vehicles from scratch with a dedicated team of engineers. In March 2022, Ashwin requested businessman Anand Mahindra to provide technical support to build such type of vehicles.

A few days later, Mahindra responded that their company Mahindra & Mahindra would assist the production team from their Mahindra Research Valley campus in Chennai. In July 2021, the makers have erected a futuristic set at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad where a significant portion of filming is expected to take place.

In August 2020, A. R. Rahman was initially approached to compose music for the film. Rahman did not sign the film, and Ashwin retained technicians from his earlier film Mahanati (2018), namely, composer Mickey J. Meyer and cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez. But later, Serbian cinematographer, Djordje Stojiljkovic, replaced Dani Sanchez-Lopez as the official cinematographer of the film. In February 2023, Dutt stated in an interview that Santhosh Narayanan replaced Meyer as the composer, along with a female Bollywood composer composing a song for the film.Singeetam Srinivasa Rao joined the project to serve as a mentor.

Kalki 2898 AD is estimated to be mounted at a budget of ₹600 crore (US$75 million), making it the most expensive Indian film ever made.

Dunki (transl. Donkey flight) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film based on "donkey flights", an illegal immigration entry technique. The film is directed and edited by Rajkumar Hirani and produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Jio Studios. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal (billed as a special appearance), and Boman Irani.

Principal photography began in April 2022 and wrapped up a year later in April 2023. Filming took place in Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kashmir, Budapest, London, Jeddah and Neom. The soundtrack is composed by Pritam, while Aman Pant composed the background score. C. K. Muraleedharan, Manush Nandan and Amit Roy handled the cinematography of the film.

Dunki is set to be theatrically released worldwide on 21 December 2023.

STORYLINE: 

Hardayal "Hardy" Singh Dhillon, Balli, Buggu Lakhanpal, Sukhi and Manu are best friends who share aspirations of going to London for a better life. The friends prepare to move for London and take up measures to learn English and understand their culture, but decide to take an illegal backdoor entry channel called "Dunki" to arrive in London, where they encounter several challenges and life-changing experiences.

Animal revolves around the complex relationship of a business magnate Balbir Singh and his son Arjun Singh. After tragedy befalls Balbir, Arjun sets out to exact vengeance against his rival Viraj Surve and pledges to never leave his family, leading to a gruesome gang war.

The Great Indian Family is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language family comedy drama film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It stars Vicky Kaushal as a religious, Hindu Pandit who is revealed to be Muslim by birth. Manushi Chhillar,  Manoj Pahwa, and Kumud Mishra appear in supporting roles. It will be released theatrically on 22 September 2023. Released on OTT on Amazon Prime. 

STORYLINE:

Ved Vyas Tripathi, aka Bhajan Kumar, is a religious Hindu man who faces an identity crisis and a personal dilemma when he discovers he is actually a Muslim by birth.

But this movie tells good things about each religion, each cultural, each peoples. This movie talk about we all are different with each other but humanity is same inside us.

After watching this movie on Amazon Prime on OTT today,  I feel that movie doesn't work and audience neglected because this is the not right time to release these kind of movie. Well everyone taste is different, but I liked it .
