JAWAN: HIGH-OCTANE ACTION THRILLER
Jawan was initially planned for release on 2 June 2023,
but was postponed due to unfinished post-production work. It is now scheduled
for a theatrical release on 7 September 2023 coinciding with Janmashtami.
Storyline:
Vikram Rathore is a former soldier who is determined to
make amends for his past, where he also leads a team of six skilled women in a
series of heists across the country and hijacks the Mumbai Metro. Vikram learns
that his long-lost son Azaad Rathore is an honest officer who is being targeted
by his name is Kali, a global arms dealer. Vikram embarks on a mission to
obliterate Kali and also presents the
government with a set of demands, thus setting the stage for an electrifying
and high-stakes showdown.
Cast:
Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role as Vikram Rathore and Azaad Rathore, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi as Kali, Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and others. Vijay & Sanjay Dutt are also there in a cameo appearance.
